Imitation Pot, Known as K2 Spice, Genie and Zohai

I would not, the first time I read about it was in our local newspaper and later a parent brought it up to me. Then I thought I need to learn more about this. Apparently the effects are similar to marijuana but more potent and it is legal.  K2 is a synthetic drug produced in China and Korea, a mixture of herbs and spices sprayed with a synthetic compound similar to THC. THC is the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana, generally it is smoked or inhaled through a pipe.

K2 Spice Can Have Legal Consequences For Teens

K2 is banned in Europe but legal in the United States. It is popular among those on “probation” and is moving into the high school population.  Many states are proposing bills to make it illegal with the same punishments as marijuana.  Parents should know that these substances are very dangerous for teens.  If you believe your teen is engaging in the use of these drugs, please don’t hesitate to get them professional support.
